The Safe and Fuel efficient Driver training programme (SAFED NZ) is being launched in New Zealand. The programme is designed to improve fuel efficient driving techniques and safe driving practices for truck and bus drivers. Adapted for New Zealand by the Ministry of Transport, the one-day training programme is based on the highly successful United Kingdom government-funded scheme.
