Q:1 - How long has KDTraining.com been operating?

A:Our Company has been operating as KDTraining.com since 7 Sep 2009 when we rebranded - prior to that date we traded as DECA Training. The name DECA Training has been synonymous with quality driver training in New Zealand since the opening of its first training centre at Ngongotaha (Rotorua) on Friday 6 March 1998. Two years later, after merging with Commercial Driver Training School Limited, a presence was established at Takanini (Auckland). In May 2004 the interests of DECA Training in New Zealand were acquired by Kiwi Driver Training Limited (a New Zealand owned company) and we continued to trade as DECA Training. In 2009 we rebranded as KDTraining.com

Q: 3 - What does "DECA" mean?
|
|
A: DECA is the abbreviation for "Driver Education Centre of Australia". The Australian-owned company (DECA Training Limited) ceased trading in New Zealand and was wound up in 2005; the DECA brand ceased in New Zealand in Sep 2009. DECA continues to trade in Australia under the DECA trade name as it has since 1985; see their website http://www.deca.com.au

Q:4 - Does KDTraining.com have its own vehicles?

A:KDTraining.com has a small vehicle fleet to support its training activities. The fleet comprises several Toyota Hilux utilities and Toyota Corolla wagons, a Brent Smith Trailers ATV trailer, and two Clark forklifts. Trucks and trailers of varying sizes are hired on an "as required" basis from TR Group to support specialist driver training courses.

Q: 5 - Are your trainers licensed?

A: Yes, all our trainers are licensed by Land Transport New Zealand (LTNZ) as Driver Instructors. Our trainers are also NZQA accredited tutors.

A:KDTraining.com has its head office in East Tamaki in Manukau City (South Auckland). In Jun 2009 we opened a branch at Hornby, Christchurch. From these two bases our team supports our many clients throughout New Zealand..
